I like the small size because in the classroom the teachers know me by name, also because they acknowledge me outside of the classroom.

My school is friendly and the faculty are always willing to help students. Professors here knew my name before I ever had them in class and they go out of their way to make classes interesting. They are willing to help you with resumes and job searches. Most of the professors here came from jobs in the field and know the information first-hand.

The best thing about Waynesburg University is the size and the hometown feel. I love that the classes are small and that you are able to know and become friends with almost everybody who has the same major as you. I also love the small town feel of Waynesburg. You live in a small laid back town, but if you are looking for a big city, Morgantown and Pittsburgh aren't too far away.

I consider the small and family-like atmosphere the best thing about my school. It is very nice to feel as though you belong to a little family while you are away from home. You do not feel lost and alone here.
