It's a very pretty community college. There are lots of classes and programs to choose from, there is also an early college program for the local high schoolers. There is always something posted up outside (snacks, games, info booths) by our student council. Teachers here are great and we have awesome facilities to help better your academics. Free tutoring and lots of free classes to learn a new skill. Only one basketball team for boys and student council, not much else extra-curricular activities.

I love Western Piedmont for many reasons. The first is that it feels like family here. If you ever get lost (which is hard to on this campus) there is always a friendly face to guide you. This is the same in the classrooms. Teachers typically will go out of their way to help you succeed. It is a caring environment. I consider it the best community college. We have many clubs and it is easy to get involved with activities on campus.

This school has some great features but, like any place there is faults as well. One of the many great features include the library. This feature is very nice and is a great place to study or print of a paper needed for your next period. A fault in this school is finding a tutor for certain classes. I personally had trouble finding a tutor for anatomy and physiology

Western Piedmont Community College is a very good college to attend. I am currently enrolled and hoping to be admitted into the Nursing Program here. I love the size of the classrooms and you feel the personal connection between you and the professors there. I recommend going here because of the staff and activities available here.

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Western Piedmont Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back in time and give myself advice about college, I would encourage myself to fill out as many scholarships as possible. I would have told myself I can do anything I put my mind to and to not be afraid of the maximum 21 credit hours a semester. I would have told myself to not be as shy and to speak out, not only to get my point across, but to maybe help others to not be afraid of sharing their feelings too. I also would have suggested that in my first semester of community college to already be preparing myself for the transfer to a four year once I get my associate degree. I would tell myself to really think through all my decisions to make sure they are the right ones. I would tell myself to show much appreciation and gratefulness to all who will support you in school. I would also tell myself to take any offerings the college gives me because it will only help me in the future. And then, I would tell myself to choose what career path is going to make me happy because that is what matters most.
