I brag most about Western's wonderful professors. They are always willing to help the students, as well as being super friendly. They also encourage students to learn new ideas other than what was learned and discussed in the classroom. I love that I know all my professors by their first name and they know me by my first name. The professors at Western make an effort get to know their students. Plus, there are two ski resorts within a half hour away; everyone that is here, wants to be here.
I brag about the friends I have been able to make. Participating in every activity I could helped me meet new friends. I also brag about the community involvement at the school. It is a very small school in a very small town. The outdoor activities (skiing, hiking, biking and rafting to name a few) are awesome. Attendance at sports activities is great and makes the games alot of fun. Study facilities are very good and readily available.
How great the people are here and how many different things to do here.
When I brag to my friends about my school I mostly tell them how personal the school is and how much my professors care about me. I went through a tough first semester, because I moved to a new area, I am originally from Wisconsin, but the neatest thing about Western State is that they wanted to help me. I just really love that I feel part of a strong community and they want me to succeed. It truly is amazing.
I get to go skiing in the winter fishing in the summer ythe weather is great my teachers are great and i love my school
My school is centered in the mountains. The air is not only fresh but exhilerating. The people here on and off campus are some of the nicest people you will meet. I have been on more adventures here at Western State than I ever have. Climbing 14ers, off-roading, snowshoeing, skiing, backpacking, bouldering, and rock climbing are just some of the adventures I had last year.
Small class sizes, beautiful campus, amazing professors, fantatstic location, great friends, wonderfull supptive staff, state of the art buildings, ithe schools values regarding the enviorment and politics
There is so much that I brag about to my friends but mostly that I can really have fun at this college and do a lot of activities that I have never done before that I can now, like going snowboarding, ice sledding, cliff jumping, hiking, ect. I feel that I can be myself more at Western than I ever have before and I like that. I can dress anyway I want to and I really don't care what people think plus I learn so much new stuff in classes I love it.
