Westfield State is great school. I highly recommend coming here. The professors are great and it has a very unique learning environment. You will definitely learn a lot here, and overall have a great time. What makes this a school great, is the close attention you receive from the professors. Classrooms aren’t that big so you get a lot of one on one attention.
I highly recommend WSU! I had a great experience attending this University and will forever cherish my memories throughout those 4 years. Nursing is a highly competitive major and this University offers small class sizes with plenty of one on one interaction with professors and clinical faculty. Clinical experiences were provided to all students and were a huge part of the nursing program. The capstone course took into consideration the students top choices. Persoanlly, I was able to move back home and attend my capstone preceptorship at local hospital that aided in my career. I now have had an RN position for over two years at the very same hospital.
The school is a good place it has a lot of greenery that gives a sense of peace for me and the teachers are truly helpful. There's been a bit of an issue with racism but that everywhere the people are to used to living on a bubble. I enjoy being there and plan to get my masters at the school too.
I love Westfield it was the best decision of my life. I went from a small town and only made a little jump to Westfield. It is the perfect size for anyone who is looking for something small. The dinning commons needs to be worked on. They are trying to get healthier, but they have started to use more and more nut products which is not healthy for the people with a nut allergy. I feel extremely safe on campus since everything is so close together.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Westfield State University is 77%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I think I made the right decsions for where I am, I wish the school was closer but the closer school didn't have what I wanted. I would have meet the people I've met. I have friends for life.
People who want to slack off in college or party their way through should not attend Westfield State University. The school supports students having fun with their friends and meeting new people in a variety of locations, but partying and slacking off is not tolerated. Another type of person that should not attend Westfield State University are people who do not want to get anything out of their college experience. Westfield State offers students an array of activities and services to help both commuting and on campus students get the most from college.
Nothing really, the school did a really good job with giving important information during tours and such beforehand. Maybe the only thing that isn't too important is the quality of the food sometimes. The quality tends to be pretty poor at most times.
This school is open to many personalities. All the majors, activities and sports offered will fit many students. This school is so open and freindly and I see a wide variety of students.
Lack of variety and simple repetivie routine.
The students at Westfield all come from diverse backgrounds, students here come from all diffferent races and socio economic backgrounds.
The best thing about Westfield State University is the quality education that you aquire over four years for a reasonable cost. Westfield provides those who graduate with the opportunity to get out into the world and start a career for themselves. The carreer services at Westfield are extrememly helpful as well; such as, on-campus job interviews, internships, resume assistance, and career/job search classes.
my friends are awesome
Westfield State College is a small school with pretty trees to walk under on your way to class, which always proves to be an adventure, socially, academically, and every way in between.
When looking at Westfield State I fell in love with the area. I find the area to be very unique because there is a center of town that has every shopping necessity a college student needs, plus Westfield even has a resident hall located in the center! I also love the fact there is a beaufitful park across the street that is fun to take walks in, do homework at, and even just hangout with friends and play frisbee. This is an amazing area to go to school, I feel like it's the type of college shown in movies.
