I greatly enjoyed the sense of community amongst the faculty, staff, and students at Westmont College. Most of the class sizes are relatively small, so there were many opportunities to connect with faculty members and receive any necessary support. Also, the faculty members are very supportive and are interested in mentoring you and helping you grow academically, personally, and spiritually. Additionally, I could not have asked for a more beautiful location or more perfect weather for my undergraduate studies!

I have the opportunity to get to know my professors as well as all the faculty. Because Westmont is such a small school, we get to know the students very well too.

Westmont is an excellent school. No school has a better community. The teachers truely invest their time in their students and care about us. Not only do the teachers care, but everyone who works at Westmont truely cares for everyone else. It is a close knit community. The classes offer challenging courses but not impossible ones. The music department is truely amazing and has excellent teachers. The sun is also a big hit, the beach is 5 minutes away and transportation is free.

When students intend Westmont college, they are given a level of independence that many have never experienced before and for many, this is their first opportunity to make decisions as an adult. My college experiences gave me the opportunity to learn, expand my spirituality and grow to understand adult decision-making processes within this spiritual community. In pursing a college education in a liberal arts college in the Christian traditions can help students develop an increasing sense of the world and of the challenges that we face as we, as a Christian community, address major political, ethical, and social challenges.

Most of our teachers are well known experts in their field. We have a lot of fun on our campus and you can actually get to know other people and faculty!

The sense of family there.

I love that Westmont is a very small school with a limited amount of 1200 on-campus students. Life overall is very Christ-centered, and people are generally very friendly.

It is very small so I felt like i could actually learn from a teacher and also because i could have a teacher that knows me by name
