My school is best known for setting students up for successful transfers to four-year universities. It also offers an outstanding study abroad program and a Running Start program for high school students that allows them to earn college credits tuition- free.
Probably convenience! There are classes offered all times of day, as well as night, hybrid and online classes to suit every learning style. It's a great help to be able to take online classes on a lot of topics, and the fee is only 99 dollars.
I believe Whatcom is best known for their ability to to help students receive an education as well as their many programs that can help everyone in the community learn and succeed. It's also great that high school students may also take college classes to finish their high school credits and even when classes are full, teachers are still willing to let a few more students in so that they dont have to wait another quarter to take the classes they need. For me it's good that Whatcom has a two year accelerated nursing program.
