I am truly enjoying Wiley. The faculty and staff are very approachable and wants you to learn. College is not about the professors, but it is about what the students out in to get what they need. I have often heard when the student is ready the teacher will appear. If we pull on our professor's knowledge and not dummy down then, the education will truly begin. We do out part and they will make sure they do theirs.
The college is great for educational purposes. The mission statement is really lived up to when enrolling at Wiley College. However, like any other university or college, students are a big distraction when one is trying to reach his/her academic potential. Overall, I have had some rough times and great times as well. I have successfully made it and will see the light at the end of the tunnel on May 7, 2016. Thank You Wiley College for all that you have given me in knowledge and finance.
Wiley College is a great college for students who's not able to afford college and for having a close bond with the staff. If you're not used to going to a big college and in need of anything, this is the right place to be. There's some great staff here who will be there for you and gives you that support as if your family.
Wiley college can be considered a wonderful college to attend , yet to me it’s not challenging enough. I want to be pushed out of my normal learning habits , I want to be forced out of my comfort zone , and I want to be able to interact in the class room more. Wiley college is the college for students who love a small community and land. Yet for myself I would love to see new faces on the daily , learning more people names, and coming across different cultures. Wiley overall is a wonderful hbcu if anything , abd I’m glad I started here but I want to end some where bigger.

wiley college is best known for its debate team and acappela choir
Well to be honest anyone can go to this school but, anyone with a problem seperating from their parernts or anyone for that matter, and live at a far distance from the college shouldn't come.
Before coming to this school I wish I known how my decision to leave college at 19 would affect my adult life. Not that I have had a bad life but I believe things would be different if I had persevered through the hardships. Funds were limited and I was not mature enough to innovate ways to work through this. If I had I would not be a 49 year old college student now. On the bright side, I am enjoying college. Being an adult student proposes challenges but I have a sense of accomplishment just from returning to school.
Wiley College is a strongly rooted HBC that i love to attend.
The worst thing was the different type of people. That was the worst part because , you didn't know who to become friends with , or if your friends where even your real friends. Some days they where the best people in the world and on other days they acted like you where there arch enemy.
My Classmate in some way intimidate me and make me want to better myself.
it small and its like your at home
If your attending Wiley and you don't know anyone try to get good with frats and soro's they are not like they seem on tv we are humble!
i brag about how small the campus is. you can get around very easliy no hassle at all.
The most frustrating thing about school is learning to manage and balance the stress from both school and social life. The school will stress you about needing so much financial aid but does not fully provide you with assistance. You would figure they would give a little hand with you having courses and coursework. so i have to fend for my higher GPA and finding financial aid. Not saying its not my responsibility, but that is pretty frustrating. I have to just shake it off and let my maturity shine through.
