I am a full time student at Wilkes Community College and I am in student government and we try to get everyone involved that would like to be involved. The instructors at Wilkes community are easy to access and everyone on campus is willing to help. If you don’t want to go to a university and live close go to Wilkes community you will find some of the best people to help and they are willing to help.
I believe that Wilkes Community College is a rather nice and welcoming college but has a lack of interesting courses. I applied to WCC in hopes to achieve my goal at gaining knowledge about my art career and further helping me on the path to my next desired college. However, they have only a few art classes with a rather apathetic teacher. I hope that the college opens up more Art classes and expresses a passion for the field of study such as I have. As for the lack of help with transferring to my other college, I believe that WCC should be more open and willing to help students who want to transfer out of state and give the same encouragement to students who transfer in state.
