The best thing about this school... is .... that campus is beautiful. It is very peaceful when it is sunny to sit in the plaza and study / do homework.

The best thing about my school is the quality of the professors. The student, not their research, is their priority. However, Willamette also encourages professors to conduct research, and there are many opportunities for students to participate.

I like the small environment because it is easy to make friends and not acquaintances. The people here are laid back and super friendly. I have not seen a more welcoming school than WU. Since our school is small compared to other renown colleges, we don't get the appeal from major corporations and/or press so there's less pressure.

The best thing about my school is the fact that the class size is so small. You are able to get to know your professors really well and they all know you by name. It is nice being able to get help when you need it and have the professor really want to help you and be able to help you more because they know you personally.

Willamette University is more than just a school to me; it has become my second home. I think the best thing about Willamette University is the wide variety of people on campus. Willamette's campus is full of all kinds of different people that you will never get bored there. I have been able to meet so many people from all over the United States and the world. It is my second Hawaii, where everyone offers something special and unique to the classroom and community.

What I love about my school is the atmosphere. Here at Willamette, the classes are small so you get to know everyone and the professors can relly help you with anything that you are unsure about. Also, here at Willamette, professors are like your peers, of course they are peers who have more knowlegdge and experience, but they treat you as equals and value your opinions.

All of my professors know my name. Even a semester later, some of my professors still say hi to me in passing and ask how I'm doing. I love the personal connections here on campus.

I think the best thing about my school is that we have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of activities and still do well academically. Many of the athletes that I work with would never have had that opportunity had the went to a bigger school. Without this opportunity they would be involved in other activites that are not as productive.
