What kind of person should attend this school?

This school would definitely be for those who want a relaxed college experience, with great professor availability and lots of help available. Most students here are upper middle class, and do not require a job straight after college, and do not have to worry about paying for the next year. The school is not good with getting aid reports out in a timely manner, so planning is difficult. The majors do not lead to good jobs right out of college, but require graduate degrees before they are really worth anything.

If you are interested in politics, music, or social sciences, Willamette is a great place for you to go. The students are all very friendly and committed to learning. They are there because they want to be, not because they have to.

People who are looking for a smaller school would love Willamette, which means lots of time with the professors. Also, a person who wants a good overall education that can prepare them for their future would be attracted to my school. Another type of person who might like Willamette is a music major because of their prestigious program.

A person who not only likes but doesn't mind a quite small and VERY tight knit community. This is not to say that 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the time those you are knit next to are your favorite people, which, due to the closeness of campus, could cause a bit of claustrophobia. Very student-empowering school, someone who is motivated and maybe can't afford a pricey school - and Willamette IS pricey - without financial aid.

The people who attend Willamette tend to be open minded and friendly, reaching out to new faces and trying to make people feel welcome and secure. It seems like everyone, no matter where their interests lie has someone to talk to and hang out with and get along with. people here tend to be outgoing and carefree and laid-back, not overly obsessed with grades but also not too into dangerous partying.
