Windward Community College is a place that embodies the spirit of Aloha on the island of Oahu. The main portion of teachers that I have had care deeply about their students learning and about conveying their subject to us. The campus is on the smaller side but it is a beautiful campus nestled by the Ko'olau Mountain range and always fresh and green.

I love this school, the campus, the atmosphere, and the students around me. I wish I could stay on this island forever and get my whole education at Windward. I have been so happy to get the opportunity to learn in such a beautiful place. Getting my first degree here is amazing.

Small campus and lots of resources available. I am still learning that more are available and where help is (library labs with tutors, TRIO, professors, online resources). Also there is lots of financial aid help available via the CTE resource and hi-net. I just learned about it today in the 3rd week of school.

Overall, Windward Community College has been extremely hospitable. They welcome all students and never discriminate. There are plenty of foundations and opportunities that help students who are struggling to get back on their feet. I'm proud of this school and proud to be a student here.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
