My school has great school spirit! We all act as a family and work together. Even if we have disagreements upon the students, faculty, or staff, at the end of the day we are all still one for eachother.
I brag most about the academics of my school. It is the best in the state for my major and therefore am proud to go here.
How beautiful the campus is and the many extracurricular activities it has. Our gym is our pride and joy because it was recently rebuilt and it has a lot of interesting sports to do as classes or as recreatation.
You build true relationships with your professors in small classroom environments. That allows you to learn from someone you trust to out for your best interests. You also get opportunities to ask questions & get answers when you need explanation on some more diffiult or confusing matters. Located close to Charlotte for all the big city desires, but Rock Hill is quite, uncongested, & rather safe.
I brag about how well I know alumni and how easy it is to get opportunities through them.
When describing my school to prospective students I would speak highly about my major and greek life. I am a Bachelor of Fine Arts major with a concentration in Interior Design. It is an extremely rigourous major but it is rewarding and challenging. I have gained a close bond with all of the other students in the major. Greek life on Winthrop's campus is very strong. As a proud member of Delta Zeta, we work hard to donate to the community and student body. Greek life in general works hard to provide a meaningful impact on the universities campus.
I brag mostly about what they want to hear, but when talking seriously I tell them about how we have a great education program, business program, music program and most of all chemistry and biology program. I go into as much detail as I can with what ever they are interested in.
The people there are so friendly and it makes living there so much better.
That we a have a great Greek System and our Student Government Association really aims at working with the student body.
All of the different activities, and the sense of community.
I brag about my professors and how they helped me find a job BEFORE I graduated. I was a journalism major, and all my professors have had experience in the media. Their connections helped me get my foot in the door for my first job, which I landed three months before actually graduating.
Definitely our basketball team and our brand new multi-million dollar athletic center.
How easily it would be for me to find a job before i graduate.
