Around the Milwaukee area Wisconsin Lutheran College is known as a strong liberal arts college. My school is also known for the competitiveness in sports from football to tennis. Being a strong liberal arts college helps people like me as a student get a wide range of study while studying for my undergraduate degree. The courses are designed to adapt to the students as well as make the students think. In sports the student athletes show tremendous effort during their season(s) but they show just as much effort out-of-season practicing and in the weight room.

It is known as a Christian school, its Education program is among the best in the Mid-West area. The fine arts program is also famous. Recently, Wisconsin Lutheran College has started adult and graduate study programs in Education, Business and nursing.
Wisconsin Lutheran College is known for rigorous academics. Any student wishing to challenge him/herself would be very satisfied with the classes offered. The teacher training program is also one of the best in the state. The teacher training program is one of the most rigorous in the state, but it also does a phenomenal job to prepare future teachers. Almost all, if not all, of the degrees offered will have a strong emphasis on academic success and career training. Students become experts in their field while learning practical application.

My school is best know for educated students to be servant leaders in their future careers, socail lives, and home life. Along with a high standard for accademics, WLC also gives its students a spiritual foundation. The two top majors WLC is known for is Education and Communications. That being said, WLC also is known for the Fine Arts opportunities it offers its students. We have a superb Concert and Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Nowack. Also guest artist series and theatre productions are available to the campus.

WLC is known for being one of the top 100 schools in the United States! It has many great professors, and all the students are more than willing to help and accept everyone. The school itself is somewhat small which makes everyone feel like they are in a community. It's a wonderful school, there's something to do all the time, and lots of nice people to meet.
