Witt kids are typically rich, white, athletes from Ohio. There's nothing to do other than study and drink.
Wittenberg students tend to be very involved and have a lot of school spirit. Students are very friendly and generally love Witt.
I do not think that there are any prevalent stereotypes that proliferate around the student body other than what admissions statistics tell you: majority of students are middle class Caucasian.
A stereotype about Wittenberg students is that we are all play and no work. But this is not the case! Wittenberg students exhibit the perfect balance between playing hard and working harder. We enjoy having fun and social experiences while at college, but are also very good at factoring in school work, academic commitments, and extracurriculars.
A stereotype about Wittenberg is that we are a very small school
One of the biggest stereotypes about Wittenberg is that the campus is too small and there is nothing to do for students. Another stereotype is that students are unable to receive a high, superior education like you could at a major state school.
There is a stereotype that all Wittenberg students are wealthy.
That because the university is expensive everyone comes from a well off family from well off neighborhoods and only one walk of life.
Some of the stereotypes that people have about Wittenberg students is that they are spoiled rich kids who have big egos. They believe that we are very cliquey.
I would say that a stereotype of the average Wittenberg student is that they are athletic, very friendly and outgoing.
Athletic and a "jock" school.
Everyone thinks that we're snobby! This is so not true. Witt students are probably some of the most sincere and genuine people. Everywhere you go, people will smile at you (even if you don't know them) or hold the door open for you. Everyone on the campus are just all very friendly people, snobby is the COMPLETE opposite!
They are elitist, and "cliqued".
I was told that it was too expensive to go, because the up-front cost is outrageous! M
That because the school is expensive all the students are rich and they are going to be carrying around the most expensive items and be snobby to anyone that isn't rich
Stuck up, rich, smart, from the east coast
rich snobs. parents hand them everything they want.
Some stereotypes are that Wittenberg students just party all the time and don't ever do their academics.
Drinkers, Partiers, Smart, Rich, Stuck-up...
We are very active--over committed
One could say that the typical Witt student is either a jock or a prep...but that doesn't always hold true! Here at Witt, everyone kindof marches to the beat of their own drum....just because I'm a French major doesn't mean that all I do is hang out with the international students (even though they are some fo the coolest people on campus!) but I get to hang with people from all areas of study and different activity types.
Stereotypes include being rich and stuck up. Also that students can be 'elite'-ist
Before coming to Wittenberg, I always seemed to hear about how friendly and active everyone on campus was.
Witt students are extremely involved! We have a large greek population and a large amount of athletes.
That it is predominately white, middle/upper class, full of athletes and Greeks
Wittenberg students are often said to be good-looking, highly evolved, hard-working (both in the class room, on the field or court, and in life in general), and fun. They are always busy doing things and finding things to do.
Being from Springfield, I know that it is that all Witt students are rich and stuck up.
Not very diverse Stuck up Wealthy
Preppy, white, big partiers, upper class, friendly, fun, welcoming, polite, athletic
Wittenberg students are rich.
1. They are all rich 2. They are too friendly
They are rich and are drunks
the only thing i can think of is that they are always saying hello and smiling.
That Witt students are all wealthy, just because of the pricey tuition.
Spoiled rich kids supported by mom and dad
Wealthy, white Ohio students confined by the “Witt Bubble” and only consumed by sorority/fraternity life
Wittenberg's campus is surrounded by a bubble.
-It’s a bunch of white, rich kids. -Seriously Liberal. -Oh their Lutheran or religiously affiliated… -“The Witt Bubble” -Its just a party school.
That all the students have lots of money....
Any stereotype you saw in high school can be said about Witt.
Part of a "BUBBLE"
They are all athletes. They are all rich white kids. They all party. They are all from Ohio
