I actually attend WyoTech-Blairsville but it is not listed so I went with the Laramie campus instead. I have not attended the Laramie campus, my review is on the campus at Blairsville, Pennsylvania. Yes, some of the students here have problems and those problems can be a poor reflection upon the school. However, educationally speaking, WyoTech as a whole is a great school. It is a very intense program. Some even may call it strict. Those who do not keep up on attendance, grades, or participate in frowned upon activities are invited to leave (kicked out), which is great because it gives the students who actually care about their education more opportunities and time with the instructors. There is so much to learn here and we have fun too. Even if you don't know anything about cars, trucks, welding, motorcycles, or semis they start from the every beginning in your core program and teach you all there is to know. Like I said before, great school, awesome faculty, best bang for your buck.
everything I could ask for although there are no a/c in the dorms
While many instructors have good intentions, the class size and lack of discipline during class makes it impossible for this campus to deliver on the promise of teaching its' students basic and advanced automotive repair. Due to there being no entrance exams or selection process this school became a catch-all for students who would otherwise not seek any kind of secondary education, thus increasing class size and effectively diluting the knowledge the instructors try to share with the class.

There is nothing i wished i had know befor coming to wyotech. i personally like the risk of something new and unknowing what is in store. the only thing i can think i would have liked to know was the weather forcast. i moved from oregon.
someone who is not willing to learn about the automotive trade and how the automobiles are repaired and parts are replaced.
It is a official sponsor of NASCAR
the program is shorter which can get me out in the field quicker so i can start making money earlier to pa y off all my loans
I personally think the best thing about wyotech is the effort givin not only but the select students who put them selfs to the challenge but also the teachers who challenge you to do yur best, learn as much as possible, and to leav this school with not only the information you recieved but with the confidence to do whatever is thrown your way in the automotive industry.
