Two first-place winning entrants will receive a $5,000 scholarship, and his/her video will be used as the basis for a PSA for the Ad Council, which will be distributed nationally to over 1,600 television stations nationwide. Two second-place winners will receive a $2,000 scholarship, and two third-place winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship. All awards are offered annually and are non-renewable.
Six awards offered annually. First through third place will be awarded in two categories: one for high school juniors and seniors, and one for college students.
The Video should focus on the importance of avoiding distractions while driving. Video may include other people, but students must have permission from all individuals who appear in or are mentioned in the video to use their name, voice and/or image.
