National All or Nothing Day

July 26th is National All or Nothing Day, a day to celebrate taking risks and going after our dreams. This is a day to put aside our fears and doubts, and to embrace the possibility of failure. After all, without risk there can be no reward. Any great achievement requires taking a chance, and sometimes that means putting everything on the line. So today, let’s all take a step outside our comfort zones. Let’s ask for that promotion, apply to that dream school, or finally tell that special someone how we feel. We may not achieve everything we set out to do, but by taking risks we open ourselves up to the potential for greatness.

How to Celebrate National All or Nothing Day

On National All or Nothing Day, we celebrate commitments, big and small. It’s a day to think about the things we’ve tackled and accomplished, as well as the things we’ve yet to do. For some people, it may be a day to finally jump into that project they’ve been thinking about for months. Or, it may be a day to celebrate the fact that they finally completed that project they’ve been working on for years. Whatever your commitment level, today is a day to reflect on the progress you’ve made and set your sights on the future. So how will you celebrate National All or Nothing Day? Here are a few ideas:

  • Make a list of all the things you want to accomplish in the next year, five years, or ten years. Then, make a plan of action for tackling those goals.
  • Celebrate the accomplishments you’ve already made. Write down everything you’ve achieved in the past year, no matter how big or small. Then take some time to really savor those accomplishments and give yourself a pat on the back.
