High school and college students who have applied for scholarships are eligible for one of four $500 scholarships. Deadline: June 1 Hungry to Lead Scholarship Hungry for some money for college? This $2,500 award is open to U.S. students who are enrolled in or plan to pursue a degree in a food service or hospitality program. Deadline: June 1 Blaze Wifi Rural Scholarship Country or city? Your answer could score you a $500 scholarship for college. High school seniors and current college students with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher can submit a blog post about living in the city vs. the country for the chance to win. Deadline: June 1 John D. Graham Scholarship College seniors majoring in journalism or public relations who are members of the Public Relations Student Society of America will want to apply for this $3,000 scholarship. Applicants must demonstrate leadership in the PR field and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Deadline: June 12 Billy Welu Scholarship If you consider yourself an amateur bowler, you could strike out (couldn’t resist a backwards baseball crossover pun!) with this $1,000 bowling scholarship. Applicants must be current undergraduate college students and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Deadline: June 15 BigSun Scholarship High school senior athletes are eligible for this $500 scholarship. To apply, students must submit an essay about how playing sports has affected who they are and how they relate to their families. Deadline: June 19 Bridgestone Teens Drive Smart Contest Safe driving is important, but did you know it can also help with college bills? High school, college, and trade school students can submit a short video about the importance of safe driving for teens for the chance to win this college scholarship. First place receives $20,000, second place is $10,000, third place is $5,000, and each of the top ten finalists will receive a set of Bridgestone-Firestone tires. Deadline: June 19 Tylenol Future Care Scholarship College students who plan to pursue an education in health care and have completed at least one year of undergraduate or graduate coursework may apply for this scholarship. Ten awards of $10,000 and 30 awards of $5,000 are offered annually. Deadline: June 30 Unigo Do-Over Scholarship Have a moment you’d like a second chance at?
