RJT Veterans Scholarship

Eligibility: U.S. veterans of any age who have been diagnosed with PTSD.
How to apply: Submit an essay of 650 to 1,000 words about PTSD and how you’ve been affected, and a personal statement outlining your educational goals and career plans.

Eligibility: U.S. residents under the age of 26.
How to apply: Register at DoSomething.org and then use science and math to solve a mystery on your phone.

Smithsonian.com Photo Contest

Award: $2,500 (one award), up to $500 (eight awards)
Deadline: 11/30/2016
Eligibility: Anyone who is 18 or older.
