Siemens Competition for Math, Science, and Technology Love science and math and stuff? Over 100 $1,000-$100,000 scholarship are awarded to individuals or teams of high school students who conduct a research project in mathematics, engineering, the biological and physical sciences, or a combination of all four. Deadline: September 22. Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship Cell phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year. Then use it to fill out this $500 scholarship that will be awarded to four hard-working college students pursuing a degree in the humanities. Deadline: September 30. Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship Program Minority students who want to earn a degree in the technical sciences or engineering should check out this $1,000-$10,000 scholarship. If you have your resume handy, this scholarship should be a breeze. Deadline: September 30. DDSRank Dental Scholarship Have a thing for teeth? Well, if you’re planning to enroll in a dentistry program or already en root (canal!) then this $500 scholarship is for you! Deadline: September 30. National High School Poetry Contest Take those love poems or rap lyrics that you’ve been writing during the middle of your history lecture and put them to the test. U.S. high school students are eligible to earn a $100-$500 scholarship by submitting a poem of 20 lines or less. Deadline: September 30. Unigo Shout It Out Scholarship Have something to say? Here’s your chance to shout it out — in 250 words or less. Students 13 years and older can win $1,500 just for sharing what’s on their mind. Deadline: September 30.
