Megan Meier Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student, either within his or her high school or through an approved college correspondence program.
To Apply: Submit a completed essay describing how your accomplishments relate to the mission of the Megan Meier Foundation.


Center for Alcohol Policy Essay Contest

$ Award: $5,000
Deadline: 1/17
Eligibility: 18 years or older.
To Apply: Complete an essay answering the following question: During the United States Supreme Court 2019 term, the Court announced in June its decision in Tennessee Wine and Spirits Retailers Association v. Thomas. Based on the Court’s decision, what do you believe will be the next steps for alcohol policy in the United States?


AFA Teens Essay Scholarship

$ Award: $5,000
Deadline: 1/17
Eligibility: High school seniors.
To Apply: Applicants are asked to write a 1,200 to 1,500-word essay that describes the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on themselves, their families or their communities, and what they have learned in light of coping with the brain disorder.


StudentCam Documentary Competition

$ Award:Up to $5,000
Deadline: 1/20
Eligibility: Students in grades 6-12.
To Apply: To apply, submit a short (5-6 minute) video documentary on a topic related to the competition theme: "What's Your Vision in 2020? Explore the issue you most want presidential candidates to address during the campaign."


The Point Foundation Scholarship

$ Award: $10,000
Deadline: 1/28
Eligibility: All high school senior and college students. Must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community.

Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship

I Have a Dream Scholarship

Eligibility: All students 13 years and older.
To Apply: Submit an online written response to the question: "We want to know... what do you dream about? Whether it's some bizarre dream you had last week, or your hopes for the future." (250 words or less)


Courageous Persuaders Video Contest

$ Award: $3,000
Deadline: 1/31
Eligibility: Your commercial must be 30 seconds long or less, and your message must be about the dangers of underage drinking or the dangers of texting while driving.
