Applicants must be a high school senior, or high school graduate, planning to enroll in college for the first time. Approximately 470 scholarships (valued between $1,000 and $3,000) will be offered. This essay contest is open to U.S. high school and college students. Scholarships are valued between $1,000 and $3,000. The number of awards offered is subject to available funding. Deadline: January 15, 2013.
This art competition is open to U.S. and Canadian students. Students must be in grades 7 through 12. Thirty Distinguished Achievement Awards will be offered. Fifteen scholarships valued at $10,000 will also be awarded. Deadline: January 15, 2013.
This music scholarship is open to any student, younger than 25, who resides in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington. Preference is given to those students who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. One scholarship, valued up to $10,000, will be provided. Deadline: January 31, 2013.
