How to apply: Complete two surveys and redeem your points for a scholarship or other awards. The more surveys you do, the better your chances to win.

TicketCity Annual College Scholarship Program

Award: $3,000
Deadline: 11/11/2016
Eligibility: U.S. citizens who are college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors with a 2.5 or higher GPA.
How to apply: Submit an informal essay of 400 to 700 words about sports, along with a picture or video that supplements your essay.

Maryknoll Student Essay Contest

Award: $1,000 (one award), $300 (one award), $150 (one award)
Deadline: 11/11/2016
Eligibility: U.S. students in grades 6-12.
How to apply: Write an essay of 500 to 750 words about why it's important to heed the Pope's call to respect and stop exploiting the earth.

RJT Veterans Scholarship

Award: $1,000 (two awards)
Deadline: 11/14/2016
Eligibility: U.S. veterans of any age who have been diagnosed with PTSD.
How to apply: Submit an essay of 650 to 1,000 words about PTSD and how you've been affected, and a personal statement outlining your educational goals and career plans.

CleanItSupply.com Scholarship Contest

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 11/21/2016
Eligibility: U.S. high school seniors, college freshmen, and college sophomores, ages 16 to 21.
How to apply: Submit an essay of 500 to 1,000 words about one of the "clean" topics listed on the website.

New Look Laser Tattoo Removal Scholarship

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 11/30/2016
Eligibility: U.S. students with a 3.0 or higher GPA who are enrolled in an accredited college or university.
How to apply: Submit an article of 200 to 400 words that expresses your opinion of the societal impact of laser tattoo removal.

Science Sleuth Scholarship Contest

Award: $5,000
Deadline: 11/30/2016
Eligibility: U.S. residents under the age of 26.
How to apply: Register at DoSomething.org and then use science and math to solve a mystery on your phone.

Smithsonian.com Photo Contest

Award: $2,500 (one award), up to $500 (eight awards)
Deadline: 11/30/2016
Eligibility: Anyone who is 18 or older.
How to apply: Submit your original photos.

Unigo College Review Scholarship

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 11/30/2016
Eligibility: U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents who are currently attending college or grad school, or have recently graduated from college.
How to apply: Review a college you currently attend or have attended.

Poetry for Life Scholarship
