Award: $5,000
Deadline: 9/14
Eligibility: 13 years of age or older who are residents of Canada, the United States and District of Columbia.
How to apply: Register and take at least two surveys.

VidgoTV.com Scholarship

Award: $2,000
Deadline: 9/1
Eligibility: U.S. undergraduate students, who are 17 years of age or older, with a GPA of 2.25 or higher. 
How to apply: Submit an essay of minimum 750 words on one of the topics listed on the provider website. 

Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Awards Program

Award: $2,500 (grand prize), 500 (first prize in each category)
Deadline: 9/14
Eligibility: International and U.S. students.
How to apply: Submit a manuscript of no more than 4,000 words in one of the categories: crime; horror; romance; science fiction/fantasy; thriller; young adult.

FormSwift Startup Scholarship

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 9/15
Eligibility: International and U.S. high school senior, undergraduate or graduate students.
How to apply: Make a business plan infographic about one of the suggested topics listed on the provider website. 

Ark Law Student Voices Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 9/21
Eligibility: U.S. undergraduate, graduate, or certification program students.
How to apply: Submit an essay of between 500 and 1,000 words that addresses the topic listed on the provider website. 

Community College Scholarship

Award: $5,000
Deadline: 9/29
Eligibility: U.S. public community, junior or city college students, 16 years of age or older.
How to apply: Answer two open-ended, personal, and thought-provoking questions, 300 to 500 words each.

Cappex Monthly Scholarship

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 9/30
Eligibility: U.S. citizens in high school or college or who plan to enroll within 12 months.
How to apply: Register for a free account on the scholarship provider's website. That's it.

Don't Text and Drive Scholarship

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 9/30
Eligibility: US high school, undergraduate, or graduate students.
How to apply: Submit a short 140-character message about texting while driving. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists and be asked to write a full length essay about texting while driving.

Return2College Scholarship

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 9/30
Eligibility: U.S. upcoming and existing undergraduate or graduate students, 17 years of age or older.
How to apply: Submit a short answer of three sentences or less to "Why are you getting your degree?".

Money Metals Exchange Scholarship Program

Award: 2,000 (first place), 1,000 (second place), 500 (choice)
Deadline: 9/30
Eligibility: U.S. high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate students.
How to apply: Submit an essay of roughly 1,000 words which answers one of the questions listed on the provider website. 

Unigo Shout It Out Scholarship

Award: $1,500
Deadline: 9/30
Eligibility: U.S. citizens or residents who are 13 or older.
How to apply: In 250 words or less, tell us "If you could say one thing to the entire world at once, what would it be and why?".
