There will be 132 students scholarships of $20,000 each awarded, 22 per simulation period. There will be one grand prize scholarship of $100,000 awarded. Scholarships are non-renewable.

Students win scholarships based on their individual scores in each of the six simulation periods. Individual scores are based on increasing savings, avoiding fees, and correctly answering quiz/survey questions throughout the simulation. Students may only win one scholarship over the course of the program (October-April). The winner of the grand prize scholarship will be the student with the highest "Real-World Ready" score. This score is based on behavior, knowledge, and skill, as assessed by participation, quiz scores, and simulation skills. The winner is determined by the highest overall percentage out of a possible 400 percent. Eligible students must obtain consent from their parents or legal guardians prior to participating in the Challenge. Eligible students of employees of HRB Tax Group, Inc., Carmichael Lynch, Inc., d/b/a Spong, ProperLiving, LLC, MDR, spokespeople for the Challenge, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies and members of the employees' immediate families (spouse, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, wards, daughters or sons and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of such employees, whether or not related, are eligible to enter but not eligible to win.
