Each qualified national award winner will receive the following: a $500 cash award; a laptop computer (provided by Bank of America); an engraved award for both the student and the student's school; and a trip to attend the Bank of America Technology Showcase and Awards Ceremony. The ceremony will be held in Charlotte, NC, in March. The trip package includes airfare for non-local winners (those outside a 50-mile radius of the Charlotte, NC metro area), some meals, and lodging for each awardee and one accompanying parent/legal guardian. Please note: Past applicants, including semi-finalists, are encouraged to reapply; however, previous award winners are not eligible to reapply or receive any additional awards.
The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, there were 32 national winners.
