Ronald McDonald's House Charities
Most local chapters of RMHC award $1,000 scholarships, although amounts may vary in some local program areas. All awards are given annually and are non-renewable. Scholarship funds will be paid via check directly to the accredited institution in which the student enrolls. Scholarship funds will not be paid directly, nor reimbursed, to an award recipient. Scholarship funds will be applied toward tuition, fees, and other appropriate educational expenses, as determined by RMHC.
The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of qualified applicants.
Applicants will be judged on leadership, scholarship, and community service. Judges will include current and former area educators, leaders in the African American community and McDonald's representatives. Please note: RMHC offers four scholarship programs; the student may only apply for one.
Applications are available on the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) website beginning October 1. The student must submit the following with his/her application: a certified high school transcrip ... sign up for full scholarship deadline information.
