This scholarship was established by former students of Ron Bright who wanted to honor his contributions to the field of teaching. This scholarship hopes to encourage those students pursuing careers in education who also want to make a difference in people's lives as Ron Bright has done. Preference is given to students with extracurricular activities in the performing arts. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and good moral character. Recipients will be notified after the scholarship selection committees meet, which could be any time between May and August.
