Full tuition and fees or room and board for any participating college or university, renewable until graduation (up to four years). Army ROTC Scholarships also provide monthly living allowances for each school year.
Approximately 1,500 four-year awards offered annually. Additional three- and two-year scholarships may be available to students who do not receive a four-year award.
The high school Four-Year Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. The student should contact his/her high school academic adviser or campus Military Science department for more information. Students must meet minimum physical standards, and must agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard). This commitment is for eight years; the student must serve full time in the Army for four years and serve an additional four years in the IRR (Individual Ready Reserve). Selected cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career.
