Women In Defense, A National Security Organization (WID)
$500 to $12,000 annually, non-renewable. Recipients of past awards may apply for future financial assistance.
The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on funding and the number of qualified applicants. Last year, six awards were offered.
Awards will be based on academic achievement, participation in defense and national security activities, field of study, work experience, statements of objectives, recommendations, and financial need. Only recipients will be notified of the results.
