Award amounts are determined by the student's college. The student should contact his/her college's financial aid office for additional details.
The number of awards offered varies annually. In the prior academic years, there were approximately 180 scholarships awarded.
Applicants must not be in default on a federal student loan or in overpayment status on a federal student grant. Applicants must also meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as determined by the institution that the student is attending. Recipients must agree in writing to apply for a teaching position in an accredited school in Indiana following that student's certification as a teacher and, if hired, to teach for at least three years.
