$1,000 will be provided to the first place winner in each category and $500 will be provided to the runner-ups. All scholarships are provided on a one-time basis and are non-renewable.
Four awards offered annually. One winner and one runner-up will be selected for each category (essay and video).
Essay submissions will be evaluated according to the following: demonstrated understanding of the topic; persuasiveness; creativity; impact of suggested solutions; and proper usage of spelling and grammar. Video submissions will be judged based on: creativity; content quality; quality of suggested solutions; and overall production value. Winners will be notified and announced in mid August.
