Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship is awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must be in excellent academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application.

Description: The Take a Stand Scholarship is available for students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the United States. Applicants must be in good academic standing and must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: As ex-police officers and firefighters, the attorneys at Saint & Watzke seek to inspire people to hold fast to their beliefs and morals. That’s why they launched The Take a Stand Scholarship to support those who stand up for their beliefs with $1,000 to further their educational aspirations.

Award Amount: The scholarship's value is $1,000. The award is not renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application instructions and additional information are available on the provider's website. To be considered for this award, students must submit: an original essay of approximately 1,000 words in length; a recently updated resume; and a current official transcript for all academic work completed.
