Wayne Rich was a 4-H agent and longtime supporter of 4-H. He was originally from Maine and relocated in New Hampshire. The Wayne S. Rich Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Maine or New Hampshire 4-Her for post-secondary study. It is available to a Maine student on odd numbered years and goes to a New Hampshire student through their 4-H Foundation on even numbered years. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of demonstrated academic and 4-H excellence. Recipients will be requested to attend the foundation's annual meeting to receive their scholarship in person.
The Wayne S. Rich Scholarship is provided only in odd-numbered years. Please check back in October 2018 for updated information about the 2019 award. Applications are available online on the Pine Tre ... sign up for full scholarship deadline information.
