Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two scholarships are provided each year through the David “Davey” Duggan Memorial Scholarship Fund. One award will be given to a female applicant, and one will be given to a male applicant.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must reside and attend school in Holyoke, MA.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  3. Must demonstrate a record of academic and athletic success.

Additional Information: The David “Davey” Duggan Memorial Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to students graduating from a high school in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Competitive applicants will demonstrate a history that combines academic and athletic success. One male and one female recipient will be chosen each year.

Award Amount: Scholarships are typically awarded in the amount of $1,000 and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications for the David “Davey” Duggan Memorial Scholarship Fund are available and accepted between January 1 and March 31. To apply for this scholarship, students must complete the online application at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts website. Completed application forms will also require students to submit a recent copy of transcripts as well as their current year Student Aid Report. The Student Aid report is obtained when the student completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All applications must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
