Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. Must be an active participant in equestrian sporting events such as barrel racing, roping, rodeo, jumping, 3 day events, dressage, or gymkhana.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Southwestern Tack Scholarship program is available for U.S. high school seniors who have been active participations in horse related sporting activities including, but not limited to: barrel racing, roping, rodeo, jumping, 3 day events, dressage, or gymkhana.

Application requirements for the Southwestern Tack High School Participation Scholarship Program are:

  • Application form
  • Proof of enrollment
  • Proof of equestrian participation OR a related major
Additional Information: Group one application designation for the Southwestern Tack Scholarship program is available for U.S. high school seniors who have been active participations in horse related sporting activities.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

To be considered for this award, students must complete the appropriate online application form and provide evidence of acceptance to an accredited college or university and proof of participation in an equestrian sporting event such as barrel racing, roping, rodeo, jumping, 3 day events, dressage, or gymkhana.
