  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must have an interest in golf.
  5. Must be a graduating high school senior at time of application.

Additional Information: In 1971, the Women's Western Golf Association (WWGA) established the Women's Western Golf Foundation to award college scholarships to worthy high school girls with high academic skills. Candidates will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, excellence of character, and involvement in the sport of golf. This scholarship is to be applied toward tuition, room and board, university fees and other school charges.

Award Amount: $10,000 annually, renewable for up to three years if the student maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.

Applications are available online from the Women's Western Golf Association (WWGA) website. In addition to the completed online application form, students must submit the following: an essay, a high school evaluation form, two letters of recommendation, tax returns as indicated, a short financial statement, and a photo such as a recent school picture or similar image. The applicant must also complete the Federal Student Aid Report (SAR) which is obtained by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.edu.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. The application must be submitted online and all supporting documents must be mailed to the provided address. Late and incomplete submissions will not be considered.
