Awards cover the cost of full-tuition (valued at approximately $32,020 for the current academic year), renewable for up to a total of nine semesters provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.2 and meet additional campus policies set by ACU.

Abilene Christian University offers a variety of levels of academic scholarships to incoming first-time freshmen (students entering ACU with fewer than 12 hours, excluding dual credit, AP and IB) based on academic achievements, class rank, and standardized test scores at the time of admission. The National Merit Awards help ACU compete for the highest tier of academically gifted students. To be eligible for this award, National Merit Finalists and Semifinalist are required to list ACU as first choice with the National Merit Corporation. Recipients must also participate in the Honors College by completing four honors courses within your first year. Students must complete an Honors College application as soon as he/she is awarded a scholarship. Honors College applications are available online at www.acu.edu/honors.
