College Foundation of West Virginia
Up to $4,750 to cover the cost of tuition and mandatory fees at public or independent institutions in West Virginia. Awards are renewable for up to three additional years provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress and complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per year. The amount of a PROMISE Scholarship award in combination with aid from all other sources of financial aid cannot exceed the student's cost of attendance.
The number of awards offered varies annually.
The PROMISE Scholarship is a merit-based financial aid program for West Virginia residents. Students who achieve certain academic goals are eligible to receive funds to help pay for college.
