Amarillo College Scholarships

U.S. students who are enrolled in, or accepted into, a mortuary science program at an ABFSE-accredited school for the upcoming fall semester are eligible for this award. Students may enroll part time or full time.

This scholarship is open to U.S. female students who are enrolled in, or have been accepted to, an ABFSE-accredited mortuary science program. Students may enroll full or part time.

This scholarship is open to students who are or will be enrolled in an ABFSE-accredited mortuary science program.

Undergraduate students residing in one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle OR those who are planning to attend an eligible Texas college are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and plan to enroll full time in an accounting program.

U.S. graduating high school seniors or undergraduate college students who have a grade point average of 3.0 and are majoring in computer science or computer information systems at Texas A&M or Amarillo College are eligible for this award.

Graduating high school seniors who are residents of the 26 northernmost Texas panhandle counties and demonstrate community service are eligible for this award. Students must enroll at Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University.

Graduating high school seniors who reside in the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle and are currently employed are eligible for this award. Preference will be given to Native Americans.

U.S. graduating high school seniors or older students who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a disability are eligible for this award. Students must reside in 26 northernmost Texas counties and attend Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University.

Graduating high school seniors or older students of one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandles who are majoring in occupational or physical therapy and attend Amarillo College, West Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University or the University of Texas are eligible for this award.

High school seniors with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher who are residents of Wheeler, Roberts, Gray, Hemphill, Ochiltree, or Limpscomb counties are eligible for this award. Students must enroll full time in an agriculture degree at Clarendon College, Oklahoma Panhandle State University, West Texas A&M University, or Texas Tech University. Current college juniors or seniors majoring in nursing full time at Amarillo College or Texas A&M University are eligible for this award. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher in college and be residents of one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle.

Graduating high school seniors residing in one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle are eligible for this award. Students must plan to attend Amarillo College or Texas A&M University full time, and be employed part time while attending school.
