Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  4. Must attend DePaul University.
  5. Must demonstrate an exceptional level of achievement as measured by outstanding academic performance.
  6. Must attend a college or university in Illinois.

Description: U.S. graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence and plan to attend DePaul University in Illinois are considered for this award upon admission.

Application requirements for the DePaul University Dean’s Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: The Dean's Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate an exceptional level of achievement as measured by outstanding academic performance.

Award Amount: $16,000 to $17,000 annually, renewable for up to 4 consecutive years as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $17,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the DePaul University website. The student will be automatically considered upon admission to the university. In addition to the completed admissions application, the student must submit high school transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, and the high school counselor recommendation form. Applications must be submitted by the priority consideration deadline of Nov. 15 or the Feb. 1 deadline for regular notification.
