Description: Fordham University offers The Graduate Student Support Grant. A merit based award, itprovides support for student conference and/or research travel expenses; select dissertation expenses; and/or alternative learning experiences.

Application requirements for the Graduate Student Support Grant are:

Additional Information: Award Limits • up to U.S. $1,000 for participation in a national conference and up to U.S. $1,500 for participation in an international conference up to U.S. $750 for attendance at a national or international conference For research activities related to either an applicant’s thesis; preparation of a dissertation prospectus; or the dissertation project, where the objective is to distinguish the dissertation in its field nationally or internationally, and/or to increase the competitiveness of an application for external funding. • Have a master's degree, and/or be enrolled in a doctoral program • Submit a completed research application via online submission system • Ready to implement research project when funding is received • Complete project within one (1) year of funding • Be a member of Western Institute of Nursing and Sigma • Submit to Sigma a final report and completed abstract to the Sigma Repository, to receive final grant disbursement, and credit research grant partner in all publications and presentations of the research.

Award Amount: Up to $1,500 offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
