Georgia HERO Scholarship Category A

This award is available to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of Georgia residents and are attending an eligible postsecondary institution in Georgia. The student must be an active member of the Georgia National Guard or U.S. Military Reserves who were deployed to an active combat zone outside the United States.

This award is available to Georgia high school students who are planning to attend an eligible public, private, or technical college in Georgia. The student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, or earn a GED and score in the national composite 85th percentile or higher on the SAT or ACT tests.

James M. & Erma T. Freemont Foundation Scholarship Program - High School Seniors

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend an HBCU (Historically Black College/University) and have a career in the sciences. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and an ACT score of 21 or higher or an SAT score of 1150 or higher.

This award is available for U.S. college juniors who are planning to pursue a master's or doctoral degree in the arts, humanities or the social sciences and must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. This scholarship is available to Georgia undergraduate and graduate students who are attending Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, or Spelman College. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need.

Keisha M. Michael Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to African-American high school seniors who reside in New Castle County, Delaware, and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Students must plan to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU); community and church service will be considered in selection.
