In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. and international students.
  2. Must attend University of Mount Olive.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
  4. Must be a high school senior or older.
  5. Must enroll full-time.
  6. Must attend a university in North Carolina.

Description: This undergraduate award is for U.S. high school seniors planning to attend University of Mount Olive in North Carolina. The student must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher, be ranked in the top 25 percent of his/her graduating high school class, and have an SAT score (reading/math) of 1020 or higher or an ACT score of 22 or higher.

Application requirements for the University of Mount Olive Merit Scholarship are:

  • SAT/ACT scores
Additional Information: The University of Mount Olive is a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition with defining Christian values.

Award Amount: $6,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $24,000.
