Award Amount

This award can pay for eligible tuition and certain fees for undergraduate or graduate study at Illinois 2- or 4-year public colleges. This award can pay for eligible tuition and certain fees for undergraduate or graduate study at any Illinois public college or community college. Awards can be used for a maximum of the equivalent of four academic years of full-time enrollment. Recipients must re-apply each year. Students should contact the financial aid office at his/her college to determine what portion of the total tuition and fees will be covered by this award.

Additional Information

This grant is funded by the state of Illinois to provide assistance to students who are members of the Illinois National Guard. The grant help pays for the cost of tuition and mandatory fees at an ISAC-approved Illinois postsecondary institution. A list of approved institutions can be found online at the ISAC website. For more information students should contact ISAC, his/her National Guard unit, or his/her college financial aid office.
