Funeral Service Foundation
The scholarship will be given either as one award of $5,000 or two awards of $2,500 each. Awards are non-renewable. Previous recipients may not reapply. Funding is sent directly to the school in the fall term; under no circumstances will the Funeral Service Foundation make a payment directly to the student. Funding may be used for tuition and fees, books, and supplies.

The scholarship was established in honor of Ralph Buckner, Jr.'s daughter, Shipley Rose Buckner, through a generous gift to the Funeral Service Foundation. Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, religious beliefs, age, national origin, or disability. Students may receive only one scholarship from the FSF. Candidates will be notified of the scholarship decision in August.
