The Exemption for Peace Officers Disabled in the Line of Duty Program is a state program, created by the state of Texas, established to provide a benefit to resident undergraduate students who were injured in the line of duty while serving as peace officers. The applicant must enroll in classes for which the college receives tax support (i.e., a course that does not depend solely on student tuition and fees to cover its costs).
