University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Scholarships

Single parents pursuing undergraduate vocational degrees at eligible Arkansas schools may apply for this award. Students must reside in Benton County, Arkansas.

This award is available to Arkansas resident undergraduate students who are attending an Arkansas state-supported college or university. Students must be the natural child, adopted child, or spouse of an Arkansas resident who is/was one of the following: a prisoner of war, missing in action, killed in action, killed on ordnance delivery, or disabled during the course or result of active military duty after Jan. 1, 1960.

This award is available to Arkansas residents who are attending an Arkansas state-supported college or university. The student must be the dependent or the spouse of an Arkansas resident who was killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty while working in a law enforcement or public service position.

This award is for single parents who are residents of Crawford, Franklin, or Sebastian counties, AR, and have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. The student must plan to attend an eligible AR or OK college.

U.S. and International students who are high school seniors and are planning to attend the University of Arkansas are eligible for this award. Students who receive this award typically have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher and have SAT/ACT scores of 1240/28 or higher.

This award is for students who are enrolled in their second year at a two year school and are planning to transfer to a four-year program for the Fall term and college sophomores or juniors in a four-year program or beginning seniors in a five-year program. Junior and senior level applicants MUST have one full academic year of coursework remaining at the beginning of the Fall term.

This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. Students must major in electrical or mechanical engineering and have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher; an ACT composite score of 27 or higher (or the SAT equivalent) is required.

U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher, and an ACT score of 21 or higher (or the SAT equivalent).

This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. Students must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher and an ACT composite score of 25 or higher (or the equivalent SAT score).

High school seniors, current college freshmen, and community/technical college graduates who will enroll in an NAAB-accredited architecture program are eligible for this award. Students must be minorities and/or financially disadvantaged.

U.S. college sophomores or juniors currently enrolled in a public college or university in one of the states in ASME District E (Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming) are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and major in mechanical engineering.
