Description: The University of Nevada Valedictorian Scholarship is a $1,000 award with the possibility to renew for four years if the student maintains a 2.75 GPA, enrolls in at least 12 credit hours each semester, files a FAFSA each year and meets other conditions. Additional Information: Applicants must be incoming freshman at University of Nevada Las Vegas. Students who do not meet the renewable conditions will not have their scholarship reinstated. This award may be renewed if the following conditions are met: • Complete a valid FAFSA by November 1 each year. • Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA • Must enroll continuously and complete 12 credit hours each semester (with the exception of summer semester). • Be meeting the financial aid satisfactory academic progress policy. Can receive this scholarship up to 135 credit hours attempted or 9 semesters (whichever comes first) of consecutive enrollment during fall and spring semesters.

Award Amount: $1,000 per year for up to 4 years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $16,000.
