Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  4. Must be a resident of Wisconsin.
  5. Must be a graduating high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
  6. Must have been active in a 4-H youth leadership activity for one or more years.
  7. Must attend or plan to attend a University of Wisconsin system school.
  8. Must pursue a degree in home economics or other degree which is related to home economics, such as childhood development, interior design, fashion design, or human ecology.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Wisconsin graduating high school seniors or older who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and have been a 4-H member for one or more years are eligible for this award. Students must plan to attend a University of Wisconsin system school and major in home economics or other degree related to home economics, such as childhood development, interior design, fashion design, or human ecology.

Additional Information: Scholarship applications will be reviewed by a qualified, impartial committee applying the following criteria: demonstrated personal growth and development through Wisconsin 4-H projects and activities; held leadership roles in Wisconsin 4-H and other organizations; academic record; financial need and sense of direction in future educational goals.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

Additional information can be found on the 4-H Foundation website. To apply, students must submit a resume, cover letter, list of 4-H projects the student has participated in, and a recent digital photo. All materials must follow the guidelines laid out on the website. All materials must be submitted by email by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date.
